This week’s #ToolTuesday is a gamechanger for those of you who are currently on the job hunt or just looking to upscale your brand. Have you ever heard of an online resume?

Who has time to print and update a physical resume anymore? Interviews are now virtual and what better way to show your tech prowess than by using a tool like SwiftCV. What’s so great about this (freemium) tool? Let me tell you:

Stand Out in a Sea of Resumes

In the midst of an international pandemic and truly humanitarian crisis, we have found our unemployment numbers soaring, especially for women and women of color. This just means that companies now have the pick of the liter and you have to stand out! An online resume does just that.

Update on the Go

As you all probably know, I am a perfectionist. I have found myself making small spacing and content edits to my resume in the last quarter, re-printing over and over again. With this tool, I am able to edit my resume and have the changes immediately reflected. Even if I have already sent it over!

Interlinking and Search Engine Optimization

When it comes to your personal brand, there is nothing more important than an online presence! Having a page on LinkedIn and Facebook is a good start, but by leveling up with a landing page like this, you are approaching a new level of professionalism. By setting this up, you will have one more online presence to back up the fact that you are a great hire. You can link this CV in your social media bios to make sure everyone knows how put together and successful you are!

I hope this tool helps put you on the map and impress some hiring committees! Feel free to share this email with someone you know who is #funemployed and looking for new ideas.
